Embossed promotional products are a great way to get your name out there.  Having your company on a leather note pad or other product that is used every day by a client helps keep your name fresh.

Deboss is achieved by pressing an image into a material’s surface so that the image sits below the product surface. A die is created and then heat pressed into the material. The image that is pressed is clean and crisp. It is ideal on leather, durahyde and vinyl products. Debossing can also be done on paper and denim.

Debossing is ideal to promote your company logo and/or company name.  Not to be confused with embossing, debossing depresses the desired shape into the surrounding material. With embossing the surrounding material is depressed which gives the artwork a raised or three dimensional look.  From a processing stand point both deboss and emboss have their merits however debossing tends to be an easier, less complicated.

Choosing the correct material is important for deboss quality and longevity.  You need to choose the artwork carefully.

There can be potential problems with complex graphics. Black and white graphics are also best. Don’t expect the same quality of artwork that is on paper to be duplicated in the debossing technique. Care should be taken in the design process so a clear understanding of the finished product is communicated.

A benefit of debossing is that it can provide a look of elegance and value to a very competitively priced item. Debossing can give your product a high end look. Debossing gives a very classy look. It gives a subtle and professional look and feel to high end executive gifts. The recipient will more than likely feel comfortable using the product in their day to day business. This will give your product it’s desired end goal of promoting your product or company.
