Is your art area looking a touch disorganized? I understand how messy things can get when creating handmade crafts. Listed below are a few helpful ideas to keep that work area clean—without limiting your creativity.

1. Consider storage. Try to keep a place for everything, and keep everything in its place. If you can’t find your supplies, making arts and crafts can be much more complicated! Don’t be afraid to rearrange things with shoe boxes or other containers. And do remember to put your supplies back in their place when you’re done using them!

2. Keep in mind good lighting. Art is so much easier when you can see what you’re creating! Don’t forget the importance of natural sunlight, as colors often look different depending on what kind of lighting used.

3. Work table. Purchase in an old table that you wouldn’t feel bad about covering with glue or supplies. After all, you can’t be expected to do your best work when you are worrying about getting your table dirty!

4. Separate your work area. If you do not already have special room for your crafting, you might want to try partitioning off part of a room. This will separate your artwork from your daily activates. Tell your roommates/spouse/children that this space is off-limits.

I hope these tips helped. And remember, keep crafting!
